We are looking for a talented and ambitious SENIOR MEDICAL WRITER (full-time) to join our team in Cheadle, Manchester, UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES

  • Take ownership and responsibility for content development and delivery of medical education and communication projects, including symposia and advisory board meetings, slides, publications, congress materials, digital content, marketing and strategic projects
  • Lead medical writing projects to deliver on time, in scope and within budget
  • Write and review content, providing input into ideas and concepts. Ensure accuracy and quality of all materials produced
  • Build trusting, professional relationships with clients and healthcare professionals
  • Attend and actively participate in client meetings / congresses
  • Provide support, training and supervision to junior medical writers

YOUR PROFILE

  • PhD in medical, life or health sciences, or pharmacy
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a medical writer within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within a medical communications agency
  • Confident, proactive and client-oriented team player
  • Proven ability to lead projects in a motivating way and to manage capacities effectively
  • Inner drive to deliver exceptional work within tight timelines and with changing priorities
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
