As part of EMWAs ongoing commitment to our members, our Social Media team uses several social media channels to communicate information about EMWA and more broadly, medical writing. We aim to foster awareness and knowledge about medical writing, build a community through bringing our members together in a friendly, collaborative environment, and increase EMWA’s visibility.
Our Social Media team comprises medical writing professionals who, with a variety of backgrounds, bring a wealth of experience to EMWA: we range in age from 20 to 50+, medical writing experience from 3 to 15 years, have been EMWA members from <6 months to >10 years, and live in five European countries (United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Poland/Sweden, Spain).
How can members get involved?
Following us: We continually strive to provide well-informed, relevant content for members. We will distribute EMWA specific information such as webinars and conferences through all channels, but other content will vary, so it is worth connecting with us through Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn for new announcements.
Sending us your suggestions: We’re always adapting our social media strategy to better meet the needs of our members. We are here to serve you, and we welcome ideas from you about the services you would like the Social Media team to provide. If you have an idea, please do get in touch.
Volunteering your time: We encourage all of our members to get involved - with everyone taking a small role we are able to maintain a flexible team of volunteers who give their time to EMWA alongside their other commitments. If you have an interest in volunteering, we’d love to hear from you.
