The current issue of Medical Writing is available online
The current issue of Medical Writing is available on our website. This issue, which focuses on editing, follows on the success of the March 2017 issue on Writing Better. Guest Editor Evguenia (Jenia) Alechine has put together another issue offering useful advice that should help you in your daily work as a medical writer. Every article in the issue covers a different aspect of editing, and several include practical exercises to help you become a better editor. Also included in this issue is a special section reporting on several of the key events that took place at the spring conference in Barcelona, as well as articles on anonymisation and regulatory public disclosure.
Here are the upcoming issues of Medical Writing:
- December 2018: Patient-reported outcomes. The issue is now closed to new submissions
- March 2019: Careers in medical writing. Deadline for feature articles is December 10, 2018.
- June 2019: Generics and biosimilars. Deadline for feature articles is March 10, 2019. (We are looking for a Guest Editor for this issue. If you are knowledgeable about this subject and would like to help, please contact mew@emwa.org).
We continue to have plenty of high-quality articles, but we are always happy to get more. If you are interested in contributing, please contact me at editor@emwa.org.
Happy reading!
