This means that contributors to Medical Writing can expect their article to have an impact beyond the EMWA membership. Articles may also be cited by other researchers in the future.

Here are the themes and deadlines for upcoming issues:

• June 2017: Medical Devices (deadline March 13 for feature articles and April 10 for sections)
• September 2017: Observational Studies (deadline June 12 for feature articles and July 10 for sections)
• December 2017: Preclinical Studies (deadline September 11 for feature articles and October 9 for sections)
