We are sorry to inform you that we will not hold a face-to-face conference in Riga in May 2021.

The Executive Committee did not take this decision lightly, but our members' health and safety must be our priority. We concluded that there are too many unknowns about how the coronavirus situation will develop to be sure we could safely bring members together for a face-to-face conference.

The decision to cancel the Riga venue had to be taken now to avoid higher costs associated with cancellation later, and because scheduling and preparation for the event in Riga would need to start this month.

But the May Spring Conference is not cancelled. Instead, we will be holding a virtual conference as we did in November 2020. Making that decision now allows us to put as much time as possible into planning for an exciting new event. We do hope though that we will have the opportunity to see each other in Cascais in November 2021.
