EMWA May Conference in Prague and COVID-19

The EMWA Executive Committee and Head Office have been closely monitoring the rapidly-evolving implications of the current COVID-19 situation and the recommendations from the World Health Organisation, as well as the advice from and restrictions implemented by national governments.

We take the health of our members very seriously, but – as we are a not-for-profit organisation – we are also cautious of not unduly wasting any money that is ultimately money from our members. With the current situation though, EMWA has no option but to cancel our upcoming Prague conference due to take place 5–9 May 2020.

Members who have already registered for the conference as well as workshop leaders and speakers will receive an email with further cancellation information.

We will also investigate whether we can find some form of replacement, such as extending the November 2020 conference.

We thank you for your patience and understanding in these exceptional circumstances and hope to see you at our next EMWA conference. In the meantime,
