EMWA Executive Committee - nominations open
Dear EMWA Member,
We want to take this opportunity to remind you of the forthcoming elections for positions on the Executive Committee (Executive Committee Roles and Responsibilities). The positions are Vice-President, Treasurer, Public Relations Officer, and Honorary Secretary.
If you would like to apply for any of the roles (Vice-President, Treasurer, Public Relations Officer, and Honorary Secretary), please provide a candidate statement of up to 400 words indicating the position you are interested in and include a picture of yourself embedded into the Word document, to info@emwa.org by 15th January 2023.
Voting details will be sent out electronically in February 2023.
To be eligible for the positions, candidates must be paid-up EMWA members and have attended at least one spring conference in the previous three years.
In addition, specifically for each role:
- Vice-President (Job description – Vice-President): Must have served on the EC previously or served EMWA in another official capacity in the last three years (e.g. workshop leader or on a subcommittee).
- Treasurer (Job description – Treasurer): no other requirements
- Public Relations Officer (Job description – Public Relations Officer): no other requirements
- Honorary Secretary (Job description – Honorary Secretary): no other requirements
The successful candidates will be notified before the Annual General Meeting, which will take place at the EMWA Spring Conference in May 2023.
