EMWA Conference Announcement

We are sorry to inform you that we will not hold a face-to-face conference in London in November.

The Executive Committee did not take this decision lightly, but our members' health and safety must be our priority. We concluded that there are too many unknowns about how the coronavirus situation will develop, including concerns about a second wave, to be sure we could safely bring members together for a face-to-face conference.

The decision to cancel the  London venue had to be taken now to avoid higher costs associated with cancellation later, and because scheduling and preparation for the event in London would need to start by the end of this month.

But the November conference is not cancelled. Instead we will be holding a virtual conference. Making that decision now allows us to put as much time as possible into planning for an exciting new event In November.
