49th EMWA Conference 2019 - latest information for delegates

Dear EMWA members,

With just over a week to go to the conference we have 236 registrations and 10 full workshops. This is the highest attendance at an EMWA autumn conference in recent years!

Apart from all the workshops, side events, social events and so on, don’t forget the non-EPDP sessions that are open for all delegates to attend. In particular, the Taylor and Francis Sponsored Seminar on Current Issues in Medical Publishing at 12:30 on Friday 8th November in Ballroom A+B promises to be of interest to many delegates.

Here is information that will be helpful to you as you finalise your plans for Malmö. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us before the event or on site and we will be happy to assist you.

**Please view the conference website (https://malmo.emwa.org/) for the full programme and much more information including live updates during the event. Information on how to download a conference app is here. **

Workshops

Please note that most EPDP workshops have pre-workshop assignments. You must complete the pre-workshop assignment if you wish to receive credit for the workshop towards an EMWA Professional Development Programme (EPDP) certificate. Even if you are not collecting credits, you are encouraged to do the assignment in order to obtain maximum benefit from the workshop. If you have not done so already go to the conference website and download the pre-workshop assignments for the workshops that you have registered for. Some assignments need to be returned to the workshop leader by a specific deadline. If you register too late to meet this, please submit your assignment as soon as you can. Assignments must be submitted before the actual workshop takes place to gain credit.

Each workshop also has a post-workshop assignment. You will be given details of this at the workshop. Again, you must submit the post-workshop assignment to the workshop leader by the due date to gain credit.
