Call for new EMWA Professional Development Committee (EPDC) member

Dear EMWA member,

Are you looking for a new role in EMWA for 2019?

Thomas Wagner has had to step down from the EMWA Professional Development Committee (EPDC) because of other commitments. Thomas has been a long-standing member of the EPDC and we are very grateful for all his work supporting EMWA’s education programme.

We are now looking for a new EPDC member to support our work on the workshops for the EMWA Professional Development Programme (EPDP). To ensure we have a broad range of experience and expertise on the EPDC, we are particularly keen to recruit someone who has experience in medical communications. Knowledge of medical devices would also be useful.

As an EPDC member you would have an interesting and rewarding role that underpins a core part of EMWA’s work and supports other EMWA members as they develop training for their colleagues.

To be eligible to join the EPDC you should fulfill all of the following criteria:

•    be a voting member of EMWA
•    be an EPDP workshop leader listed in the current EPDP brochure who has run at least 3 EPDP workshops
•    have attended at least 1 annual spring conference in the last 3 years.

To find out more about the role, please click the link below to download the attachment. I would be very happy to answer any questions or talk more about what is involved – you can contact me at education@emwa.org.

If you would like to express an interest in joining the EPDC, please download and complete this form and send it to EMWA Head Office (info@emwa.org) by Sunday 27 January.

Best wishes,

Marian Hodges
