Based in Southern Germany, Wendi has spent the last 5 years as a medical writing expert for the global pharmaceutical corporation, Boehringer Ingelheim. One of her current projects is co-leading the development of a company-wide approach which addresses the challenges to the industry in fulfilling the EMA transparency requirements. After graduating as a pharmacist from the Tübingen University and the ETH Zurich, Wendi turned to pharmaceutical chemistry for her PhD. This strong pharmaceutical background coupled with her broad 20-year work experience within diverse sectors of the pharmaceutical industry, such as pharmacovigilance or medical affairs, has proven particularly beneficial to her current role in regulatory medical writing.
